REMEMBERING PANDIT JASRAJ JI

  The most renowned Indian classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj Ji died on 17 August 2020 due to cardiac arrest in New Jersey. He was 90 years old.  Jasraj Ji was born on 28  January 1930 in a family of musicians with a history of over four generations in Pili Mandori, a village in the Hisar district of Haryana. His father was Pandit Motiram Ji who died when Jasraj Ji was only 3  years old. He spends almost 75 years of his life in a musical career. He not only gained national fame but also he was famous in other countries. Initially, his dream is to become a Tabla player but after knowing about the ill-treatment given by people to the Tabla artists he changed his mind. When he was 16 years old, he started training himself as a vocalist and performed his first live concert at the age of 22. He married to Madhura Pandit daughter of V. Shantaram in 1962. 74TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

  This year we celebrated 74th Independence Day in a unique way due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. This day has it's own importance as we got freedom on this day from British rule after almost 200 years of its ruling. We faced a lot of struggles and sacrifices many lives during this period. On this day we pay tribute to the leaders who fought for India's freedom. PM Narendra Modi, on this day, addressed the nation from the Red Fort. UP NEW INVESTMENT POLICY : BENEFITS TO MIGRANTS

As we all know over 35 lakhs migrants return to U.P during lockdown period, especially in backward eastern U.P. and Bundelkhand regions. State Government has already issued job cards to these migrants under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme(MNREGS) and also distributed food grains to these migrants.  In order to provide more benefits, to these migrants, U.P. Government brings New Investment Policy which was cleared by State Cabinet. This Policy aims to boost investment in the State's backward regions like Poorvanchal, Madhyanchal, and Bundelkhand and also create large scale employment. NATIONAL HANDLOOM DAY: 7th AUGUST

  This year we celebrated 6th National Handloom Day. This day is celebrated in order to pay the tribute to the Swadeshi Movement in 1905. The main objective of this day is to generate awareness about the handloom industry. For the first time in India, we celebrated this day virtually in order to avoid any public gathering because of the pandemic disease coronavirus.  Smt. Smriti Irani (Textiles Minister), was the chief guest of the function. This function was attended virtually by the handloom clusters across India, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Campuses, all the 28 Weaver Service Centre, National Handloom Development Corporation, and others. India will be giving online marketing opportunities to the weavers and handloom producers. BIG DAY HAS ARRIVED IN OUR LIFE-RAM MANDIR BHOOMI PUJAN

Finally, the day has come that we all were waiting for a long time. PM Narendra Modi lay the foundation stone for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.  After the long struggle of nearly 500 years, the Supreme Court verdict on 9  November 2019 comes in favor of the construction of Ram Temple. The Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan was attended by 200 high profile guests including UP CM Yogi Adityanath, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. The town was painted with yellow color. People from all over India ring bells, best thalis, light dias, clap to mark the significance of this period.
