World No Tobacco Day is celebrated every year on 31st May. India is the second-largest consumer of tobacco in the world and In India Bihar is considered to be the largest consumer.
The theme of No Tobacco Day this year is " Commit to Quit". This day is celebrated every year to create awareness among people about the ill effects of Tobacco.
Some of the ways to quit tobacco are as follows:
- First, you have to set up your mind that you have to quit tobacco and make sure that you stick to it.
- Remind yourself every day since it is a bad habit I have to quit it.
- Set up the time limit to when you should get rid of this habit.
- If you feel like I have to take tobacco. Then instead of taking tobacco, you can take chewing gums or any other option to keep your mouth occupied as an alternative.
- If you want you can also take the help of your family or friends to get rid of this bad habit who will watch you and constantly reminding you that you should not take the tobacco.
These are some of the ways by which you can get rid of this bad habit of taking tobacco and live a healthy and long life.
Since tobacco is very dangerous for our health we should quit it as early as possible.
