NATIONAL HANDLOOM DAY: 7th AUGUST

  This year we celebrated 6th National Handloom Day. This day is celebrated in order to pay the tribute to the Swadeshi Movement in 1905. The main objective of this day is to generate awareness about the handloom industry. For the first time in India, we celebrated this day virtually in order to avoid any public gathering because of the pandemic disease coronavirus.  Smt. Smriti Irani (Textiles Minister), was the chief guest of the function. This function was attended virtually by the handloom clusters across India, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Campuses, all the 28 Weaver Service Centre, National Handloom Development Corporation, and others. India will be giving online marketing opportunities to the weavers and handloom producers. BIG DAY HAS ARRIVED IN OUR LIFE-RAM MANDIR BHOOMI PUJAN

Finally, the day has come that we all were waiting for a long time. PM Narendra Modi lay the foundation stone for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.  After the long struggle of nearly 500 years, the Supreme Court verdict on 9  November 2019 comes in favor of the construction of Ram Temple. The Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan was attended by 200 high profile guests including UP CM Yogi Adityanath, UP Governor Anandiben Patel, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. The town was painted with yellow color. People from all over India ring bells, best thalis, light dias, clap to mark the significance of this period. NEW EDUCATION POLICY 2020

The Government announced the New Education Policy 2020. The main aim of this policy is to make "India a global knowledge superpower". This policy replaces the 34-year-old Education Policy of the year 1986. SOME KEY POINTS OF THIS POLICY ARE AS FOLLOWS: The Ministry of Human Resources Development is now being known by its new name Ministry of Education. 10+2 structure of school education is change to 5+3+3+4 structure. This means that upto 5 preschool, 6-8 mid-school, 9-11 high school, and 12 onwards graduation. It offers an undergraduate degree (3 or 4 years) from earlier 3years. 4 years for those students who want a postgraduate degree also and postgraduate degree(1or 2 years)from earlier 2 years. MPhil is now removed. This degree is seen as a hindrance to those students who are desiring to pursue a PhD course. FINALLY RAFALE FIGHTER JET LANDED IN INDIA

29 July 2020 is a memorial day for all of us. Finally Rafale fighter jets landed in India on this day. As of now, only 5 Rafale jets landed out of 36.
