FINALLY RAFALE FIGHTER JET LANDED IN INDIA

29 July 2020 is a memorial day for all of us. Finally Rafale fighter jets landed in India on this day. As of now, only 5 Rafale jets landed out of 36.
PM Narendra Modi dream of this fighter jet in India 5 yrs back. In order to fulfill his dream, India had signed an agreement with France for the acquisition of 36 Rafale jets in September 2016 for the cost of nearly 60,000 Cr. These fighter jets landed at the Ambala Air Force Base. It was welcomed by the Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria. It is a game-changer device for India.

FEATURES OF RAFALE FIGHTER JET

  • It is considered to be the most advanced fighter jet in the World.
  • It has a twin-engine fighter that is capable of carrying out multiple kinds of missions.
  • It has an operation range of 3700 Km.
  • It is a 4.5 Generation fighter jet.
  • With its twin gun pod and 30mm cannon, it can fire over 2500 rounds in a minute.
  • It has a top speed of 1.8 mach at high altitude.
  • The maximum take-off weight of this fighter jet is 24.5 tonnes.
  • The overall empty weight of the Rafale jet is 10 tonnes.
  • This fighter jet height is 5.3m & length is 15.30m.
With the landing of these fighter jets, our Indian Armed Forces now got more advanced weapon to fight with Countries like China, Pakistan, and many more. As of now, it is not handed over to the Indian Armed Forces. PM Modi officially hand this over to the Indian Armed Forces on 20 August 2020. 
As Indians, we should be proud of our country that it has got such an advanced fighter jet.

Remembering Sindutai on World day of War Orphan

  On Jan 6, every year World day of War Orphans is recognised. Sindhutai Sapkal, renowned social worker and Padma Shri awardee popularly known as the mother of orphans is no more with us on this day. She die on 4th January 2022 due to heart attack at the age of 73. She is the mother of thousands orphans. She devoted her entire life for these children. At her early age of 12, she was married to the person who was 20 years older to her. Her marriage did not subsists and her mother also rejected her. She was forced to lived on the streets and begged. Therefore she decided to adopt orphan children who do not have parents and decided to provide shelter to them. She had adopted more than 1000 children and provide them food, education and shelter. Prime Minister Narender Modi also paid tribute to Sindhutai Sakpal by saying that many children could lead a better quality of life due to her efforts. She is a source of motivation to all of us. 74TH INDEPENDENCE DAY

  This year we celebrated 74th Independence Day in a unique way due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. This day has it's own importance as we got freedom on this day from British rule after almost 200 years of its ruling. We faced a lot of struggles and sacrifices many lives during this period. On this day we pay tribute to the leaders who fought for India's freedom. PM Narendra Modi, on this day, addressed the nation from the Red Fort. Some of the important highlights of his speech : He focuses on Atmanirbhar Bharat that is to make India a self- reliant country. He has given stressed to follow the mantra of 'Make for World' along with 'Make in India'. He also appeals to the nation to take a pledge to make 'Vocal for Local'.
